1st Moon, 8th Day
The days of expansion are upon us.
The Master Craftsmen have begun the construction of the capital city beyond the central district. It is breathtaking. The designs are drawn from the most glorious of our history. A space that will welcome ever greater numbers of arrivals, who will contribute to the greatness of this empire.
The move for our precious DAObi onto an empire-wide market also begins. Though it is not without great difficulty. The resources required for the full move are of some magnitude. and we are having to move from agent to agent in the procession to our destination. As more effort is put in place, the questions arise: How many will adopt our new currency? How soon? And what shall they use it for? Surely, it is for the Chancellorship to answer these questions.
Tonight, at the sound of midnight, the Southerners will light the sky in a blaze of fireworks; in honour of the birthday of the King of Heaven, on the 9th Day of the New Year. Would it that the path forward for DAObi were as easily lighted.
